Its all about the strength..

I don't like how your 1st two points are "genetics and steroids". Realistically, the reason NFL players can jump so high is because A)They are very strong. Most WR's and DB's can squat over 500lbs B)They train explosively C)They practice.

Genetics and steroids play a much lesser role. If you're 5'11" 195lbs 8-10% body fat and can bench over 300lbs and squat 475lbs+...pretty sure you can get close to the same performance as NFL players with your 'average genetics' and NO roids. Response: I do agree 100% these guys work there asses off and I am certainly not trying to take anything away from those guys. And I am would say that only a very small percentage of those guys take the roids.
