Best Use For Improving Vertical Jump

Plyo Lunges are an excellent exercise for improving your single leg jump. As you improve at this exercise you will notice that you will get quicker and higher when bouncing off the floor. This has a direct carry over to your jumping ability. The addition of the weight vest helps add some resistance to your jumps forcing you to work that much harder, but unlike using a medicine ball you are still able to freely swing your arms.

Technique Tips

Set yourself up in the split squat position with a low bench. Then simply bounce up and down off the floor trying to get off the ground as high and as quickly as possible.
