Weighted Exercises For Vertical Jump DevelopmentThere are plenty of good weighted exercises that you can use to develop your vertical jump. Essentially the weighted exercises can be divided into 4 main groups, squat varieties, deadlift varieties, unilateral or single leg exercises, and other. Appropriate loads should be relevant to both the individual athlete, as well as the desired strength characteristic to be developed. If you are inexperienced with weight training (or even if you are!) these videos should not be used as a sole source of instruction. For obvious safety and ultimately, performance reasons, you really should learn the correct technique by consulting with a qualifed trainer who can watch you in action and correct any obvious flaws in your lifting style.
